About the speakers

Drs. Mary and Kurt Schwieters
Drs. Mary and Kurt Schwieters are members of St. Mary Parish in Melrose near their home. Over the last 21 years, they have practiced full spectrum family medicine, raised three children and cared for many foster children. They have been involved in their parish pastoral council and school board as well as volunteered locally and internationally in many capacities. Kurt and Mary are honored to work with, serve and care for their friends, relatives, neighbors and community as they continue their journey together.

Peg Imholte
As the oldest daughter of 10, Peggy learned to help at home. She saw her parents involved in their church and community, even with a large family. Their modeled actions influenced her for a lifetime. Peg sees volunteering as an opportunity to share her God-given talents in this world. She is a member of St. Joseph Parish in Waite Park.
