FRIENDS in Youth Ministry is comprised of those who Coordinate, Direct, and do Parish Youth Ministry in a parish (paid, volunteer, full or part-time) in the Diocese of St. Cloud. The gatherings are designed to provide support and guidance, prayer, professional growth, camaraderie and morale for those in Youth Ministry. Meetings are also opportunities for members to plan special events such as the Youth Rallies, Castaway, and other Retreats. Meetings typically are held once a month on Mondays during the school year. The location of meetings rotates to hosting parishes. The first FRIENDS meeting of the School Year is usually held the last Monday of August. Parish Coordinators of Youth Ministry are notified and reminded of dates and locations of meetings via email from the Consultant for Youth Ministry for the Diocese.
