Discernment is not always an easy process. It is important to remember that each person's vocation is pre-planned by God for the best happy ending. He knows what vocation each person will chose before it is chosen, and He is always looking out for the needs of His Church.

Explore each possibility thoroughly to see if that particular lifestyle matches well to the person you want to become.   Do not choose a vocation by what it will “get you”. Choose it by the plan God has for you.

We recommend the 14 Steps of Discernment created  for the Diocese of Saint Cloud.  From the many areas of his experience as a priest, spiritual director, teacher, and as a formal director of vocations, Fr. Mastey formed the 14 steps as a way to help people who are trying to figure out if God is calling them to a particular vocation. Click on each step for more information.

The outdoors is the perfect place to have fun, think about who God is and recognize the effect He has in your life. Jesus calls everyone to follow Him! He could be calling
YOU to be a priest!

At camp, we will experience examples of our faith by visiting with priests and seminarians. We'll also have a lot of fun swimming, hiking, fishing, and much, much more.
