  • Pax Christi International continues its commitment to peace and justice by inviting communities worldwide to take part in a World Week of Prayer for Peace in Sudan.

At this critical time, we are called to stand together in solidarity, through prayer, reflection and action, for the people of Sudan.
  • Just two weeks ago, at the Church of St. Joseph in Pierz, part of the Father Francis Xavier Pierz Area Catholic Community, there were more than 35 servers at the Holy Thursday Mass.
Father Aaron Nett, Father Ken Popp, Deacon Craig Korver and Deacon Leo Wehseler are the clergy members shown in the photo.
"We started this tradition after Fr. Aaron came to our parishes and this was our third year having a server procession on Holy Thursday," said Jessica Gunther, parish secretary.
The evening starts with server practice followed by a pizza party and bingo in the church basement before Mass. Dedicated parishioner Nathan Gruber (also pictured in photo) is the moving force behind the servers.
"He is amazing at recruiting those boys, college boys and men to serve for Masses, funerals, etc.," said Julie Laflamme, administrator of Father Pierz School of Religion. Holy Trinity Catholic School, Pierz MN
  • This Sunday is the Third Sunday of Easter—a perfect time to keep the joy growing! 🌱 Take a few minutes to “plant” the Word today to help Mass come into full bloom this weekend.
