2024 Fall Theology on Draft – Nov. 14

The Diocese of St. Cloud is partnering with different areas in our diocese to sponsor Theology on Draft evenings this Fall, ”From Minister to Mechanic: Finding God in all the places.” This is our final Fall Theology on Draft event. We will have more opportunities in the Spring.
Young adults (ages 18-39) are invited to these evenings to learn and share faith, fellowship, food and refreshments. Our speaker, Cathy Heying, will give her talk three times throughout the diocese. Check below for upcoming dates.
Cathy Heying is the Founder and Executive Director of The Lift Garage, a nonprofit auto repair shop that provides low cost car repair for low income Minnesotans. Cathy holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work and a Master’s Degree in Pastoral Ministry. She saw the need for auto care, and pursued an Associate’s Degree in Auto Technology with a vision of starting a garage to provide affordable car repair to people in need. The Lift Garage has been open since 2013. In 2015 Cathy was named both a CNN Hero and also the Irwin Tools Tradesperson of the Year.
