Description: Anyone who has watched Band of Brothers has seen a Catholic Chaplain celebrating the Eucharist on the hood of an Army jeep … is that legal? What are the rules about how often a priest can celebrate the Eucharist? How about how often any person can receive Holy Communion? This is a quick primer on the little bits of Church Law that governs the Eucharist, as well as a bit of reflection on the spiritual realities the law protects.

Description: We encounter Christ in the Eucharist. The words ‘go forth’, however, reveals that the celebration of the Eucharist does not end there. We are called to share that encounter with the world. Yet, sharing this encounter is foolishness to the world today.
“Let no one deceive himself. If anyone among you considers himself wise in this age, let him become a fool so as to become wise.” 1 Cor 3:18
It is here, at this time and in this place, that we are called to be fools for Christ and share what we have received. Become a fool that you may become wise – a thoughtful, hopeful, happy fool for Christ!
