Speaker: Father Efrain Rosado, OSB

Fr. Efrain is a Benedictine monk and priest of Saint John’s Abbey.  He joined a Catholic Benedictine Abbey in Mexico in 2002 and in 2011 he transferred to St. John’s Abbey. Fr. Efrain has a history of teaching math and theology in high school, working with Campus Ministry for St. John’s Preparatory School, and parish ministry.  After his ordination in 2017 Fr. Efrain became the Coordinator of Intercultural Formation of the School of Theology of Saint John’s University.  In this role he teaches courses for the formation of Lay Ecclesial Ministers and Permanent Deacons, especially for the students of the Emmaus Institute of the Diocese of St. Cloud.   He is also the Director of “Casa San Benito”, the Latino Ministries office of St. John’s Abbey. Fr. Efrain has a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering in a Mexican College, and a Master’s Degrees in Monastic Studies and Divinity from St. John’s University, Collegeville.
