Liturgy of the Hours
Below is the timetable for the availability of each volume as well as when mandatory use goes into effect Those interested in obtaining the new Liturgy of the Hours will need to visit the respective websites to order; the Office of Worship will not be taking orders.

| May 17 | Volume III may be used (Monday after Pentecost) |

| August 1 | Volume IV may be used |
| October | Volume I (Advent-Christmas) may be shipped |
| November 28 | First Sunday of Advent – Volume I may be used |
| 2028 | *Digital edition, one volume major extracts (like Christian Prayer), and minor extracts may be available |
| December 3, 2028 | FIRST SUNDAY OF ADVENT – MANDATORY USE |
*Digital edition – The USCCB intends to make available a digital edition of the Liturgy of the Hours but will delay its availability until sometime in 2028.
“Once the [four-volume] process is complete, work will turn to the review and publication of the one-volume major extracts; they are expected to go on sale in mid-2028. In addition, various minor extracts of the Divine Office, including General Instruction of the Liturgy of the Hours, Daytime Prayer, Compline, etc. – will be published at some point during 2027-2028.” (Fr. Order Of The Anointing Of The Sick And Their Pastoral Care
The Order of the Anointing of the Sick and their Pastoral Care has been officially revised to replace Pastoral Care of the Sick: Rites of Anointing and Viaticum. This new ritual book has been reoriented from the previous edition and is specifically intended for priests and deacons and began mandatory usage on Easter 2026.

Diocesan Building Commission
The Diocesan Building Commission serves as the guidance body for parishes and schools to make renovations to their existing buildings, or add new buildings to their organization. In order to help parish leaders understand the process, the Commission put together a step-by-step guide. The Commission meets quarterly, or as needed to discuss ongoing and upcoming building projects around the diocese.

The Federation of Diocesan Liturgical Commissions prepares resources for the Advent and Christmas Seasons in collaboration with the USCCB and the International Commission on English in the Liturgy. You are free to use it as you wish in your parishes.
It includes:
- The complete text of a Rite of Reconciliation of Several Penitents with Individual Confession and Absolution
- Music suggestions
- Sample penances
- A liturgical calendar advisory for the Advent and Christmas seasons
- A summation of the seasons’ readings
- The Proclamation which may be sung on The Nativity of Our Lord Jesus Christ (Mass During the Night)
- The Proclamation of the Date of Easter and the Moveable Feasts (to be sung on the Epiphany of the Lord)
