St. Cloud 40 Days for Life
40 Days for Life is a focused pro-life campaign with a vision to access God’s power through prayer, fasting and peaceful vigil to end abortion. The campaign mission is to bring together the body of Christ in a spirit of unity during a focused 40 days of peaceful activism with the purpose of repentance, to seek God’s favor to turn hearts and minds from a culture of death to a culture of life.
Current Campaign: Wednesday, February 14, 2024 – Sunday, March 24, 2024
Opening & Closing Rally
Opening Rally: No Opening Rally will be held.
All are encouraged to attend Vespers for Life at the Church of St. Anthony in St. Cloud on January 21, 2024 (https://stcdio.org/event/vespers-for-life-2024/) as well as reserve a seat on a bus heading to St. Paul for the March for Life on January 22, 2024. Closing Rally: Saturday, March 23, 2024 from 10:00 a.m.-Noon @ Vigil site then proceeds to St. Augustine Church, 422 2nd St SE, St. Cloud for a Talk by Jason Adkins, Executive Director of the Minnesota Catholic Conference at 11:00 a.m. Light lunch will follow in the narthex of the church.
[Do not park in the Planned Parenthood lot. Instead park on the adjacent street or St. Augustine’s parking lot. ]
We MUST exercise our right to assemble in peaceful, prayerful activism to END LEGALIZED ABORTION. Sign up can be on line or “if you have already established an hour in the past and want to do the same, please connect with your captain to sign up”.

SAFETY FIRST
It has been brought to our attention, by delivery services and others going in and out of the Planned Parenthood parking lot, our vigil may be creating a safety issue to those praying and those entering and leaving the lot.
PLEASE DO NOT WALK ACROSS THE ENTRANCES to the Planned Parenthood parking lot, but remain in front of the building or move to the small area between the driveways and remain there. This is a wise and reasonable request we need to cooperate with.

40 Days for Life campaigns consist of 40 days of prayer and fasting, community outreach and constant peaceful vigil in the public right-of-way outside abortion facilities. The volunteers who pray at these vigils have witnessed answers to their prayers.
