Faith Formation/Youth Ministry Gatherings

The gatherings are designed to provide support, guidance, prayer, professional growth, camaraderie and morale for those in youth ministry and faith formation in the diocese. Meetings offer opportunities for members to plan special events such as the youth rallies, Castaway, Vacation Bible School (VBS) and other retreats. Typically, these gatherings are held once a monthly during the school year. The location of meetings rotates through hosting parishes. Please check out the events page for the upcoming meeting dates.

The Diocesan Youth Council (DYC) is made up of Youth in grades 9-12 from a variety of parishes from across the diocese. These youth meet 5-6 times annually. The DYC help plan and assist in the implementation of diocesan sponsored youth ministry events. These events are primarily, but not exclusive to, the Diocesan High School Youth Day and the Middle School Lock-In.
