Job Summary:

Our Food Service Department proudly offers students a wide variety of nutritious, affordable, and satisfying meals that enable them to succeed academically and physically, while teaching lifelong healthful eating habits. Food service department staff will take direction from the head cook, and will participate in maintaining a safe, sanitary, orderly and attractive environment.  We are currently looking for customer service oriented staff members who are looking to work in a fast paced environment.

  • Serve food according to established procedures while maintaining a neat and clean serving area.

Job Summary:

In concert and coordination with the Principal and the governance structure, directs all physical plant, facilities, real property, health and safety, and equipment functions. 

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Serve and participate as a collaborative, productive member of the Principal’s leadership team
  • Provide administrative control and overall direction of physical plant operations so policies and programs promote efficiency and effectiveness.

Job Summary:

In concert and coordination with the Principal, coordinates activities of workers engaged in preparing noon meals in school cafeteria by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.

  • Plans daily menus of nutritional value determining quality and quantity of food required.
  • Purchases foods and food service supplies while controlling costs by maximizing food opportunities provided by vendors and the State of MN.
  • Inspects food, food preparation and servicing areas to maintain quality standards, optimal nutritional value and sanitation regulations. Supervises food storage and supply purchasing, production and service programs to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation requirements.
  • Checks food for flavor, temperature, and appearance on a regular basis.

Job Summary:

Custodian will report to the pastor and principal and will be responsible for keeping all parish and school buildings and grounds in clean and orderly condition, performing routine, ordinary repairs, and will assist in setting up for special activities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum hallways, stairs, and office spaces.
  • Clean carpets and wax hallways as needed.
  • Empty tenants’ recycle and garbage containers.
  • Clean window glass around all buildings.
  • Clean and disinfect toilets, sinks, water fountains, lockers, classroom desks, doors, handrails, countertops, and other surfaces as needed.
  • Replace disposable items such as paper towels and toilet paper.
  • Maintain campus and parish buildings, performing minor and routine maintenance activities.
  • Maintain grounds, including mowing, watering, edging, raking, weeding, and pruning.
  • Maintain outdoor drive and walkways, including snow, ice, and debris removal.
  • Provide other general assistance as needed, such as setting up tables and chairs in facilities as requested, hauling and moving items and equipment, and running errands.
  • Notify supervisors concerning the need for repairs to fixtures, lighting, heating, and ventilation equipment.
  • Follow all safety rules and regulations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • Custodial experience is preferred.

Requirements:

  • Must hold or have the ability to obtain a boiler license.
  • Must be willing to work both indoors and outdoors under continual, tight deadlines and under various weather conditions.
  • Must make snow removal a priority during the winter months.
  • Must have knowledge of grounds equipment operation and repair skills for minor equipment.
  • Must be able to operate mower, edger, blower, trimmer, snowblower, and all other tools required for the position.
  • Must be self-motivated and prompt in performing tasks.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50-100lbs on occasion
  • Must be able to perform routine bending, kneeling, twisting, and some lifting.

Job Summary:
