The national synthesis has been compiled and is available in both English and Spanish. More information from a national perspectiveabout the diocesan phase of the 2021-2023 Synod – For a Synodal Church: Communion, Participation, and Mission, as well as a brief overview of the next steps in the process can be found at usccb.org/synod.

Canada’s synthesis reports were prepared by each of  their four Regional Episcopal Assemblies – Western, Ontario, Quebec and Atlantic regions. These four regional reports were then received by the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops (CCCB) and used to draft a national synthesis, which was been submitted to the General Secretariat of the Synod of the Holy See on August 15, 2022.
